  1. I think it's highly disturbing that some people are willing to permanently /semi-permanently change their faces simply to make it easier to apply makeup or to look better on camera. Basically, these people are prioritizing their fake faces over their real ones, yet they want to act like that's an empowering thing to do? It's false confidence.
If you want to truly feel beautiful when you wake up out of bed you need to be willing to put in the time and effort to improve your self esteem, and one of the first steps to doing that is to work on decreasing your dependency on makeup. Here's how to tell if you have an unhealthy dependency on makeup: 1) You feel uncomfortable without it 2) You do the same look over and over again in a way that's supposed to look somewhat natural, which is a sign that, no, you are not using makeup as a "creative outlet" or doing it "for fun." Do not confuse that temporary boost of false confidence as something positive.
Another important step is to stop comparing yourself to others when you're feeling insecure, whether you're putting yourself down (like telling yourself that someone is sooo much prettier than you are) or putting others down (like telling yourself that girl may be prettier than you but is probably super stupid). When it comes to wearing makeup or comparing yourself or posting a selfie to get compliments it might make you feel better temporarily but that boost of confidence will quickly fade away, and when it does you'll be chasing after that high again. Every time you put makeup on when you feel "ugly"/ make unhealthy comparisons/ post selfies for attention all you're really doing is reinforcing your insecurities. It's extremely counterproductive.
So please, work on wearing less makeup, especially if you feel uncomfortable without it and put it on every single day. Give your face a nice wash and put on some nice lotion and just enjoy the freshness of your natural face 🙂
And please, whenever you find yourself comparing yourself to others due to your insecurities stop and ask yourself why you're thinking that way. Remind yourself that doing that isn't going to help you.
And please, don't feel the need to document each and every time you feel pretty via Instagram or Snapchat, etc. Just enjoy the moment without making your camera a part of it. I promise you, your face will not warp into that of a gremlin's just because you don't take a selfie every time you're feeling cute. Lol. I promise! You have the power to improve your self esteem. It takes time but it's worth it.
And this is coming from someone who used to be so insecure I would often avoid my reflection and avoid getting up during class because I didn't want attention on me. I even had suicidal thoughts for a period of time.
And of course even though I'm much better now I still don't feel pretty 100% of the time, but nobody does – and that's okay! What's important is that you don't let those moments of insecurity take over. Those negative thoughts are just thoughts, and you can control your thoughts. So start taking control. Weed-out those bad thoughts and plant happy ones in their place. Water those happy thoughts so they grow tall and strong, and in return you'll grow stronger too.

  2. It’s sad how “after” she got it she finally felt confident like…low self esteem is such a huge problem with us today, parents aren’t doing there jobs right

  3. I got my eyeliner tattooed when I was 19 the first lady fucked it up I wanted a lash enhancement and it winged out… But the bitch was shaking and said she was have hot and cold flashes so it ended up. Being ridiculous bad and thick and uneven any ways.. When I was 22 a lady fixed it it still had to thick she did Soo good though.. Now I'm 25.. I got pregnant last yr and noticed it was fading a bit and asked her about it literally like a week ago.. I told her I know it sounds stupid but I think my liner faded because I got pregnant and she She said that it wasn't stupid because the baby took iron from my body with affects the tattoo.. Anyways I got my tubes tied in a April so I don't have to worry about that and I'm getting them done again next week 😀 so excited..

  4. Did She say she was going to a wedding the next day……..really? The day after you get the eye liner your eyes are sore and red around the liner ink line, then it scabs some because you are poking holes in the skin…. They are not telling you the hole story, your eyes need to heal a little before you put any makeup on them. Go look at more info about this, learn before you go and have this done.

  5. I love a wet-dewey, flushed natural look often, with no make up on my eyes, maybe mascara. You can tell the perma-liner is liner… I wouldn't want that on me all the time.
