Ptosis! What is it and makeup tips/tricks.

Comments 8

  1. does anyone else have a very noticeable scar/scar tissue from ptosis surgery? i've had 3 procedures done all when i was very small and the scar and subsequent thick, bumpy scar tissue is for me a million times worse than the slight drooping :/

  2. I just got started with makeup. And I have ptosis in both eyes. I also had surgery when I was 5? I think. I was born with it so I'm so use to it! Any tips are great for me!

  3. I have ptosis in my right eye – had it since birth. It's not too bad, except people who don't know me well sometimes comment that I look tired, which doesn't help, especially as it gets worse as the day goes on.
But thank you for your tips, PLUS what you say is true – we shouldn't worry about it too much. In fact, when I was younger a guy I met thought it gave me a sexy, sultry look! (Weird, I know)

Anyway, I think you look great and actually I wouldn't have even noticed your eye if you hadn't made this video about it.

    Stay gorgeous!

  4. Thank you! I don't wear makeup very often but when I do I focuse rather on anything else but my eyes because I have the ptosis and I don't feel confident enough to wear anything that would bring attention to my eyes. But your video made me realize that I don't have to feel unconfident about how I look, it's not my fault. And I am going to try those tips. 🙂

  5. This is the first time I've seen someone with ptosis in their right eye. I don't think it's that noticeable, do you have trouble lifting your eyelid and/or does it affect your vision?
